PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is celebrating 100 years with a brand new exhibit.
Old pictures, personal stories and tools invented at the hospital can be seen on display at the Oregon Historical Society right now.
Shelly Campbell is a registered nurse who has seen the hospital change a lot over the years.
She was born at the hospital, went through nursing school there, delivered her children there and still works at the hospital to this day.
"They can see a progression of medicine from early on to present. I think they'll be fascinated to see how simple things were back then and be shocked that we actually even were able to take care of patients with the tools that we had compared to now," said Campbell.
The exhibit will be open for six months.
