PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police arrested one man and are looking for a second in connection with a robbery at a Bank of the West ATM.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the bank on NW Broadway and Flanders Street.

Officers said two men approached the victim at the ATM and demanded money before trying to assault him.

After getting the cash, the men reportedly left the scene on bicycles.

Police drove the victim through the surrounding neighborhood and said he spotted one of the alleged robbers at NW 6th Avenue and Glisan Street.

They arrested the man, identified as 41-year-old Homer Phillips, Jr., and charged him with robbery.

Officers are still trying to find the second man, who's described as African-American, about 5'9" and 200 pounds.

He wore a black and white checkered shirt at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information can call Portland police.
