PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The sidewalk outside Portland City hall is now a bit cleaner.
City workers cleaned up a campsite set up by Occupy Protesters on Monday morning.
The cleaning came after complaints of people blocking the sidewalk and that the area had become unsanitary.
The city warned demonstrators last week that they would be arrested unless they moved out of the way.
The demonstration outside of City Hall has maintained its presence since December 1st, in the form of a 24/7 Vigil that protests a camping ban which prohibits any unsheltered person from using tents or protective gear to legally sleep within city limits.
Monday's cleaning came despite protesters picking up the campsite themselves on Sunday.
