OREGON CITY, OR (KPTV) -
Police are investigating a death near the Clackamas River in Oregon City.
Investigators said a man was killed in a fall near Billy Goat Island on Monday night.
Emergency crews from Clackamas Fire District No. 1 said he was climbing a water intake station at around 9:45 p.m.
He fell 30 feet onto the rocks below and had died by the time firefighters arrived.
His friends called 911.
The man was in his 20s, according to investigators.
