GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
Fumes from a gas-powered power washer led to an evacuation at Townsend Farms in Fairview.
The evacuation Tuesday morning impacted 20 workers, who all were either taken to a hospital by ambulance or told to go to the hospital on their own as a precaution.
Hazmat crews first responded at around 10 a.m. after getting reports of fumes making people sick.
Fire officials said the power washer should not have been used so close to the farm facility, located at 23303 NE Sandy Blvd.
The conditions of the people hospitalized aren't known.
