PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

An Oklahoma man spent 84 days behind bars, accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl.

But he didn't do it, and the person who did might be in Portland right now.

A man named Tommy Braden was released from an Oklahoma jail last week.

His girlfriend is the victim's mother. Investigators believed he committed the crime, but DNA evidence proved otherwise.

Now, deputies believe their suspect is Patrick Misner, based on that DNA evidence. And he may be closer to Oregon than Oklahoma.

Misner, 27, was arrested in Gresham on July 7.

He was booked on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day.

Meanwhile, an innocent man was living out a nightmare in jail, being tormented by the other inmates.

"Let's just say baby raper, banging on my window," Braden said. "I had to cover up my head and close my ears so I don't hear it and I don't cry."

If you've seen Misner or know where he is, you're asked to call the Creek County Sheriff's Office in Oklahoma right away, (918) 227-6374
