Man killed crossing the street identified

SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

The name of a Canadian man who was hit and killed while walking in a Salem crosswalk has been released.

Connor Jordon, 22, of British Columbia was walking on Mission Street just east of Hawthorne Avenue Monday night when he was struck by a pickup. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have also identified the driver, but have not filed any charges against him. However, the crash remains under investigation.
