Judge upholds park closure rule

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland's midnight park-closure rule was upheld by a Multnomah County judge.

An Occupy Portland demonstrator challenged the constitutionality of the rule after a standoff in Jamison Square on Oct. 30. Police arrested 27 protestors who refused to leave the park that night.

The lawyer for one of the protestors said they will head to trial to challenge their arrests and the park's closure rule.
