WOODLAND, WA (KPTV/AP) -

A rail line in southwest Washington reopened Thursday morning after crews worked all night to move a derailed Amtrak engine and repair track.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesman Gus Melonas said tracks reopened at 8:15 a.m. near Woodland for both freight and Amtrak trains.

The lead engine of an Amtrak train derailed Wednesday evening on its way from Portland to Seattle. There were no injuries. Amtrak spokeswoman Danelle Hunter says 86 passengers were bused to Seattle.

The track is used by more than 50 freight and passenger trains daily.
