Screaming match led to homicide at Northeast Portland home

A stabbing that happened Tuesday is being considered a homicide investigation.

Police say it was a screaming match that led 26-year-old Eric Keith Rodriguez to stab and kill 23-year-old Jessie Fisher.

It happened Tuesday night at a home on Northeast Ainsworth in Portland.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined Fisher died of multiple stab wounds.

Rodriguez also suffered stab wounds and remains in the hospital. Police said he will be charged with murder as soon as he is released.
