TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
A So You Think You Can Dance finalist with ties to Tualatin was eliminated on Wednesday night's episode.
Daniel Baker, 24, was one of four contestants given the boot from the show. Judges told Baker there was no connection between him and his dance partner Alexa Anderson.
"I'm a little disappointed," Baker said. "You know, the talent this year is unbelievable so someone had to go home. Unfortunately, it's us."
Baker is a contemporary ballet dancer from Australia who considers the Portland area his second home.
"My relatives live here in Tualatin. I moved up here with a few suitcases. My aunt is like my second mother. We joke she's my 'dance mom.' She's one of my biggest fans," Baker told FOX 12 last month.
