Stolen life jackets could mean an end to summer fun

GASTON, OR (KPTV) -

Thieves are swiping life jackets from a kiosk at Hagg Lake in Gaston.

Firefighters said 22 life jackets have disappeared over the past month.

Fortunately, they're not in danger of running out yet.

If the stealing doesn't stop, then it is very possible they could run out of life jackets sometime this summer.

The kiosks run on the honor system and are unmanned.
