BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
A Beaverton family is asking for its cat back after it was stolen out of the frontyard Thursday night.
The family members said they saw two young men pick up their cat, Niko, and take off with her. It happened on Southwest Brightwood Street.
Stealing someone's pet is a class C Felony in Oregon, but the family said they don't care about that, they just want their cat back.
The cat has special dietary needs, so the family is afraid the 9-year-old cat could be in danger.
The owners don't want the threat of prison time to prevent anyone from turning in their cat. They just want her back, no questions asked.
