Occupy Portland protester files lawsuit

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A demonstrator involved in the Occupy Portland protests last November has filed a lawsuit against the city of Portland and a number of police officers.

In the lawsuit, Justin Bridges alleges police officers wrongfully arrested, beat and harassed him, and then failed to provide medical care. The documents said Bridges suffered severe back injuries, extensive pain and other injuries as a result of the mistreatment.

So far, no hearings have been scheduled for this case.
