Police: Two robbed, one stabbed in NE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are looking for three suspects they say robbed two men early Monday morning at northeast 26th Avenue and Alberta Street.

One of the victims was stabbed.  He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police say about 12:58 a.m. officers responded to reports of two armed robberies in the area.

They say one man reported three suspects, approached a man walking on Alberta and demanded his backpack, shoes and wallet.

Police say the victim dropped the items, ran and called 911.

Within a minute, police say the suspects approached a second man, who was riding his bike on Alberta.

Police say they demanded the man's bike and cell phone and one of the suspects, armed with a knife, stabbed the man.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Officers found the first victim's backpack and shoes nearby. The missing bike is described as a tan bike with a green seat.

The suspect with the knife is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 20s, 6' tall, 180 pounds, blonde hair, wearing a dark hoodie and pants.

The second suspect is described as an African-American male in his mid-20s, male wearing dark clothing.

The third suspect is described as a male, unknown if white or African-American.

A neighborhood search with a Police K-9 did not locate any suspects.
