WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -
Two people are recovering after a double stabbing in Woodburn.
It happened just at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday morning in the parking lot of an apartment complex on North Front Street.
Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress, but they were already at the apartments for an unrelated call.
Police said several people were leaving the scene on foot and in cars as they arrived.
Officers talked to several people in the cars and found an woman, 18, who had suffered a knife wound.
Police said they were taking care of that woman when another person informed them of a second stabbing victim.
Officers also treated a man, 20, until fire and ambulance crews arrived and took over.
Emergency crews took both victims to a Salem hospital. Both are expected to recover.
Woodburn police are investigating.
