Longview child abuse trial could wrap today

LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -

The prosecution hopes to wrap up its case today in the trial against the Longview couple accused of abusing their adopted children.

Jeffery and Rebecca Trebilcock face charges of assault and criminal mistreatment of their five adopted kids.

Last week, a radiologist testified that one of the children has five rib fractures in the stages of healing. A pediatrician also took the stand and said the four girls actually gained weight after being removed from the home.
