GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of murdering a 1-year-old girl is going to prison.
Jeffrey Locker was sentenced to 18 years behind bars Monday morning.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter in June in the death of his girlfriend's daughter.
Locker told police that Brooklyn Saechao fell in the bathtub and hit her head last August in Gresham.
After doctors said the injuries didn't match his story, Locker was arrested on murder charges.
He reached a plea deal in June.
His 23rd birthday was on July 21.
