PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Arson investigators are trying to track down three people caught on camera near fires set at a downtown Portland hotel.
Firefighters responded to the Hotel Vintage Plaza at 422 S.W. Broadway on July 9 at 6:30 p.m.
The small fires were set in the employee area for the hotel and Pazzo Ristorante.
No one was hurt and the fires were put out by employees.
Investigators have identified three young people of interest in this case. They were caught by surveillance cameras in the area of the fires just before and after they were set.
The kids then joined up with a woman seated outside the restaurant.
They are described as:
- An African American boy, approximately 13 to 15 years old. He was wearing glasses, tan pants and a plaid shirt.
- An African American boy, approximately 9 to 11 years old. He wore a black T-shirt with a "Just Do It" logo, multi-colored shorts and a pick or comb in his hair.
- An African American girl, approximately 9 to 11 years of age, wearing pink pants and a shirt or jumpsuit, with her hair in a braid.
