SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

A man with a gun robbed a Plaid Pantry market in Salem early Saturday morning.

Now, the company is offering a $1,000 reward in the case.

The man was wearing a mesh veil over his face when he went into the store at 4690 Portland Rd. NE at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, according to police.

The lone employee in the store said he produced what appeared to be a small, black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s. He is 6' tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black and white baseball cap and a jersey that extended well below his waist.

The blue and white jersey had the number 11 on it, along with the name "Williams" on the back.

He spoke to another man after leaving the store. That man was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans with the legs rolled up and white soled shoes.

Police believe he may be a witness or someone who knows the suspect.
