Portland police are looking for the suspects who stole a man's medical marijuana plants and then threatened to shoot him.
Police say that the robbery happened at about 5 a.m. on Monday at a home on Southeast Division Street.
The victim, Jeff Shivers, says the three suspects broke into his basement and stole medical marijuana plants and some small growing equipment.
Shivers says he is a permitted medical cannabis grower who only has about 10 plants in his basement.
He went upstairs to get coffee early Monday morning when his service dog started barking, so he went downstairs to check it out.
He saw the suspects stealing his plants and he chased them out of the house. Before they drove off, one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot.
Shivers says they got away with about eight plants that weren't even fully mature.
They also fired a single shot in the basement, but Shivers wasn't hurt.
He was able to get their license plate number, which he reported to police.
