VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
A Vancouver convenience store has the distinction of being one of the luckiest in the state.
In honor of the Washington Lottery's 30-year anniversary, it honored the winningest stores in six regions.
The Plaid Pantry at 514 Washington St. has sold more jackpot lottery tickets than any other store in southwest Washington during the state lottery's 30-year history.
The store sold nine jackpot tickets in all, including a $16 million prize in 1999.
That $16 million prize is not only the state's biggest, but the Vancouver store is also among the most winning tickets sold in the state.
One other Washington store has sold nine winning tickets - Rosauer's Supermarket in Spokane sold nine winners, including a $1 million raffle prize in 2007.
