Police: Naked man washed himself in park fountain

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man is accused of taking off his clothes and washing himself in a drinking fountain at a downtown park.

Jamie Hensler was arrested just after 8 a.m. Monday.

Portland police said he took off his clothes while trying to talk to children at Couch Park at Northwest 19th and Glisan.

He then began to wash his genitals in the fountain with the kids only 10 feet away.

He was arraigned Tuesday on the charge of indecent exposure.

Hensler was also ordered not to return to the park.

He is due back in court Aug. 3 for a previous case involving charges of assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.
