Prison time for man involved in SE Portland shooting

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man who pleaded guilty to his role in a robbery and shooting in southeast Portland in February is going to prison.

Christopher Bowen-Chancellor was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison, along with three years post-prison supervision.

He pleaded guilty to robbery with a firearm and assault with a firearm earlier this month.

Police said he was joined by two other people in shooting a man in the back near Southeast Ninth and Ankeny on Feb. 27.

Darrien Etherly has also pleaded guilty to robbery and assault charges. He is set to be sentenced on Thursday.

The third suspect, Ashia Holloway, pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted robbery and attempted assault.

Her sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
