ST. PAUL, OR (KPTV) -
A tanker trailer detached from its truck and rolled onto its side on Highway 219 near St. Paul Wednesday morning.
It happened at the intersection of McKay Road Northeast at 5:30 a.m.
Police said the tanker was filled with leachate water. It began to leak after the crash and a pump truck was called to the scene to off-load the remaining contents.
The driver, Colby Goin, 32, of Brush Prairie, WA, was not hurt.
He also was not given a ticket.
ODOT truck inspectors are investigating why the equipment failed and the trailer became disconnected from the truck.
