Portland Parks & Recreation workers immediately sanitized the drinking fountain at a local park, after police said a man used it to wash his genitals.
Jamie Hensler was arrested Monday morning.
Police said he took off his clothes while talking to children at Couch Park at Northwest 19th and Glisan.
He is then accused of washing himself in a drinking fountain, with kids only 10 feet away.
A Portland Parks & Recreation spokesman said crews were dispatched right away after hearing about the arrest.
The spokesman said bacteria don't live long on those sorts of surfaces, but the department took no chances in this case.
Park restrooms are cleaned and sanitized daily.
