PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police arrested a man for a shooting in northeast Portland on the Fourth of July.
Romel Yarborough was arrested early Thursday morning.
He is accused of shooting Romario Elliott at Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Jarrett Street on July 4.
Police said it was a shootout between a car and a group of people at a car wash.
Gang investigators identified Yarborough as a Crip gang associate and obtained search and arrest warrants for him and his home in southeast Portland.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible.
Yarborough is facing charges of attempted murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
