Portland police are investigating a stabbing between family members.
It happened Thursday around 11 p.m. at a home on the 4800 block of Northeast 21st Avenue near Alberta Street.
Police say an 81-year-old grandmother with dementia stabbed her adult granddaughter. She was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Domestic Violence Reduction Unit has been called and the investigation is ongoing.
