Wildfires close section of State Route 14

Klickitat County, WA (KPTV) -

A small section of State Route 14 is closed in Klickitat County while firefighters work to contain several small wildfires burning on the Washington side of the Columbia River.

The closure extends from US 197 to US 97 near Maryhill State Park.

The fires are almost completely contained, but the closure will remain in place until firefighters finish mopping up hot spots.
