SHERWOOD, OR (KPTV) -
CAT Adoption Team in Sherwood is showing off its fresh new look after repairing some bad flood damage.
Back in April, a pipe burst in the main adoption area, sending water down walls and ultimately damaging 60 percent of the cat shelter.
Insurance covered the bulk of the $220,000 price tag to make repairs.
Construction was completed in mid-July after a second leak was discovered and quickly fixed.
On Thursday, CAT Adoption Team held a ribbon cutting and gave a tour of the revamped facility.
The shelter did not close down as crews fixed the damage.
