VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
The Timbers Army is doing what it can to help the American Red Cross.
The Northern Alliance Timbers Army 107ist hosted a Red Cross blood drive at the Clark County Indoor Sports Center in Vancouver on Friday.
MLS fans of all ages showed up to donate blood, some for the first time in their lives.
The America Red Cross blood supply has reached emergency levels with 50,000 fewer donations than expected in June.
The shortfall leaves the organization with half the readily available blood products on hand now, compared to this time last year.
