Man in critical condition after getting hit by car

CLACKAMAS, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland man was in critical condition Saturday morning after getting hit by a car in Southeast Portland.

The crash happened at about 10:20 p.m. Friday night on Southeast 82nd Avenue when it hit Michael Bell, 27, near Mcbride Street.

The driver, Kevin Johnson, stayed at the scene and wasn't hurt.

Emergency crews took Bell to OHSU.

Investigators say Bell was drunk and not in a crosswalk when the crash happened.

Oregon State Police are investigating.
