PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
An autistic 6-year-old boy was found safe Monday after being reported missing.
Officers were seen searching the area of Northeast 66th Avenue and Going Street on Monday morning after the boy was last seen playing in his yard.
Police began to search the area, but the boy was found shortly later at his school.
A police spokesman said there may have been some confusion over which school bus he boarded to get there and that's what led to the missing person search.
