Summer is the perfect time for a cool concoction in a cone.
Turns out, the Rose City has a sweet little shop everyone should try.
At least GQ magazine's Alan Richman thinks so.
The food critic has included Salt & Straw as one of the country's 10 Ice Cream Shops You Need to Visit.
Specifically, he wants people to taste the shop's honey balsamic strawberry ice cream with cracked pepper for its "most fantastic flavor."
Salt & Straw, which is located on NE Alberta, specializes in handmade ice creams using all-natural dairy with the best local, sustainable and organic ingredients, according to its website.
In addition to the 2035 NE Alberta St. scoop shop, there's also one at 838 NW 23rd Ave. There's also a Salt and Straw pushcart set up at 33rd Avenue and Division Street.
