KELSO, WA (KPTV) -

Deputies have released a photo of the man found dead along the banks of the Cowlitz River.

The body of Nick Fickett, 28, was discovered inside a tent near a deserted homeless camp in north Kelso on Friday.

Investigators previously identified him as 29 years old, but they now say his birthday wouldn't have been until next month.

Detectives determined that Fickett died of multiple stab wounds last Thursday.

They are hoping the release of his photo will bring forward more information about this case.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who was with Fickett last week or may know about his recent activities.

Call detectives if you have any information at 360-577-3092. If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 360-577-1206.
