PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police are searching for the man who robbed a southwest Portland motel early Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 4 a.m. at the Comfort Inn on SW 60th Avenue.
Officers said an armed man wearing a heavy winter coat walked into the lobby and demanded cash before fleeing the scene.
Authorities from Lake Oswego and Tigard were called in to help look for the man, but they weren't able to track him down.
He's described as white and in his forties with a heavy build.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Portland Police Bureau.
