MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -
A car jumped the curb, hit a parked minivan and slammed into a house in McMinnville.
It happened at 12:30 a.m. July 27 on Northwest 19th Street.
The driver, 18-year-old Ian Millan, had a blood-alcohol level of .24 percent, three times the legal limit, according to police.
He was arrested and charged with DUII, assault, reckless endangering and being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
Police said he drove into a landscaping boulder, through a neighboring yard, into a row of arborvitae before finally hitting the minivan and ultimately the garage door of a home.
Police said they found Millan several blocks away from the crash site.
His passenger, Eduardo Labra, 20, was still in the car when police arrived.
Labra was taken to the hospital as a result of the crash. He was also cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
