LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -
A duck that got stuck with a blow dart in its neck is back where it belongs tonight.
The duck is back at home swimming in a Longview lake.
The duck was first spotted in Lake Sacajawea with a blow dart shot through its neck at the beginning of July.
Last week, park workers brought the duck to the Ocean Beach Veterinary Hospital, where vets patched it up.
They also put the duck on antibiotics for a couple of days to make sure it healed up and was in good shape to go back to the lake.
On Monday, the duck was cleared to return.
The person who fired the dart has never been caught.
