MILWAUKIE, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of murdering a woman in a Milwaukie apartment is pleading not guilty.
Daniel Seale entered that plea in court today during his arraignment.
He is charged with murder for the death of Michelle Walker. He is also facing the charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
Detectives had said Seale confessed to murdering Walker inside her Roethe Road apartment on July 6.
Her body was found later that weekend after the woman's mother called 911 to report something suspicious at her daughter's apartment.
Deputies described the suspect and victim as acquaintances, but have not released a possible motive in this case.
Seale's trial is set to begin on Sept. 21.
He was convicted earlier this year in Benton County for encouraging child sex abuse after police said they found child porn on his computer.
