PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue dealt with their first major field fire this season as it burned near several homes in northwest Portland.
Crews were called out to Germantown Road near Kaiser Road just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. It took them 30 minutes to put the fire out.
A total of four acres were charred, but crews said low winds kept it from spreading any further. Investigators said a road grader that was scraping Germantown probably sparked the fire.
