SHERWOOD, OR (KPTV) -
What was initially reported as a man being stabbed outside a McDonald's restaurant in Sherwood is now being called a self-inflicted stab wound by police.
It all started at 9 a.m. Thursday at the restaurant at 21335 S.W. Sherwood Blvd.
The man told police he got out of his car and was stabbed in the back by another man, who took off with his wallet.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The McDonald's restaurant was closed down for three hours while police searched the area.
But by 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sherwood police released an update to the case, saying the wound was self-inflicted.
So, there are no suspects on the loose in this case.
No further details have been released.
