The trainer for a local UFC fighter was arrested for violating the terms of his probation.
David Shelofsky was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on Tuesday for a weapons charge.
Shelofsky talked with Fox 12 back in May, while he was working with West Linn's Chael Sonnen in preparation for a major UFC event.
Sonnen lost to Anderson Silva in a UFC middleweight championship match in July.
Shelofsky appeared in front of a federal magistrate on Wednesday.
Back in 2006, he pleaded guilty to defrauding a bank of $1.3 million.
Shelofsky is a former fraud investigator for U.S. Bank.
