An Oregon brewery is among the best places to work in the U.S.
Full Sail Brewing Co. is on Outside Magazine's annual list for the best places to work.
The Hood River company came in at 55 out of 100.
Outside Magazine identifies a wide range of companies and nonprofit organizations with at least 15 employees working in an office for consideration.
Those companies are then sent confidential employee-satisfaction surveys to collect information about benefits, pay, environmental initiatives and community outreach programs.
Those results are then analyzed and the winners are picked.
Irene Firmat, Full Sail's Founder and CEO, released a statement saying the company is fortunate to be surrounded by scenic mountains and the Columbia River while they make world-class beer in Hood River.
In recognizing Full Sail's selection, the magazine wrote about the company's four-day work weeks, along with employees getting half-price meals and two beers after each shift in the company's tasting room and pub.
