Deputies searching for missing Salem mom

Posted: Updated:
SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

A Salem mom told family members she was going to the bank but never returned. Now Marion County deputies are searching for her.

Kate Andres, 36, dropped her kids off at her sister-in-law's house in Tualatin on Wednesday and had plans to make a stop at a bank, according to deputies.

However, she never came back.

Deputies said, according to her husband, Andres had been upset recently about some financial issues and he worried about her mental state.

At this point, deputies do not believe Andres is the victim of foul play. Instead, they think she may have driven to the Oregon coast or Medford area.

Andres is about 5'4" and weighs 115 pounds. She has strawberry blonde hair and was last seen driving a 1999 gold Plymouth Voyager with Oregon plates WTW 584.
