TROUTDALE, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police need the public's help in their search for a drug trafficking suspect.
Officers raided an apartment in Troutdale on Southwest 257th Avenue back in June when someone reported a tenant selling heroin. They found drug records, packaging material and cash, but no drugs.
Officers questioned Apolinar Esquivel, 38, and discovered he also rented a garage at the apartment complex. When they searched it, officers found more than three pounds of heroin and one pound of methamphetamine. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be worth about $200,000.
Esquivel was not arrested in June for investigative reasons, but has now been indicted by a grand jury for delivery and possession of heroin and methamphetamine.
Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
