Construction, paving will close parts of I-5 all weekend

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Construction and paving will be closing down Interstate 5 in both directions this weekend.

A one-mile stretch of southbound I-5 between the Fremont Bridge and the Marquam Bridge will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Going north, paving crews will be working on I-5 near Tigard and Terwilliger. Lanes will be closed each night this weekend, as a result.
