A motorcycle crash left a couple dead east of Sweet Home.
The accident happened at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon on near milepost 35 on Highway 20.
Edmund Cote, 61, and Joan Cote, 58, were riding their 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle when state troopers said they failed to negotiate a corner, left the road and hit a guardrail.
Joan, the passenger, was thrown from the motorcycle, over the guardrail and down an embankment and died at the scene.
Life Flight took Edmund to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say both were wearing helmets.
