One dead, three injured in Vancouver crash

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

One person was killed when their truck collided with a van full of people in Vancouver Sunday night, according to police.

It happened at about 9:30 p.m. on Lower River Road near mile post 4.

Police said the truck veered into the wrong lane and crashed into the van carrying nine people. When paramedics arrived, they discovered the driver of the truck was dead.

Three other people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Lower River Road closed for several hours while police investigated.
