ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -
An extremely rare racecar parked outside an Aloha bar is now destroyed and the driver who did it is on the loose.
A 1992 British model Nissan Skyline was parked at the Peppermill Lounge at 10 p.m. Sunday night.
The owner went inside to get a drink, according to deputies.
While he was in the bar, someone in a Ford Mustang pulled into the parking lot and plowed into the car.
The Mustang didn't stop, deputies said, and pushed the Skyline 40 feet across the parking lot.
The Skyline was totaled, and the driver of the Mustang jumped out and took off running.
A K9 team was not able to track him down.
This Skyline model had a steering wheel on the right side of the car and deputies said there are only five of them in the U.S.
It's worth $70,000.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 6'5" with a skinny build.
The Peppermill Lounge is at 17455 S.W. Farmington Road. If you know anything about this case, call the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
