Lightning sparks wildfires in southern Oregon

KLAMATH FALLS, OR (KPTV) -

Lightning sparked nearly two dozen wildfires in southern Oregon over the weekend.

Emergency crews received word of the fires around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

So far, they're fighting five in Klamath County and 16 in Lake County.

Right now, all of the fires are 1.5 acres or less.

Crew said they're on the lookout for any new fires that might pop up as they work to put out those they already know about.
